Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed as a Home Inspector in Rhode Island (required to apply).
- Minimum of two years of experience in construction or a related field (preferred).
- Pass the National Home Inspectors Exam (NHIE).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physically able to lift 30 lbs., access attic and crawl spaces as narrow as 18”x18”, and comfortable walking on rooftops.
- Pass a background check.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform home inspections in accordance with state standards of practice (SOP).
- Provide clients with detailed written reports highlighting findings, observations, and safety concerns.
- Perform ancillary services such as septic, radon, or pest inspections as needed.
- Build lasting relationships with real estate agents and other industry professionals.
- Maintain continuous learning through CE courses and updated certifications.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Work in residential and commercial environments with exposure to varying conditions.
- Requires prolonged standing, squatting, crawling, and walking on roofs.
